“a meaL is A MEal”
Acrylic Paint on Paper
8” x 11”
I’ve never been a fan of traditional still lifes; they often feel boring and tedious to me. However, I recognize that tackling them helps me grow as an artist. For this piece, I decided to take an unconventional approach, painting a table as it looks after a family meal. By capturing the remnants, chaos, and intimacy of that moment, I turned a typically “mundane” subject into a lively, personal, and unexpected still life.
